Bathtub resurfacing is an inexpensive way of renovating your bathtubs instead of buying a new one and installing it in your bathroom. It is such an easy process that you can do it yourself with some basic precautions.

You must always wear protective clothing and be sure to work in a well ventilated room as you will be involving the use of toxic chemicals that are harmful when inhaled in.

Use a cleaning solution, scrub the bathtub with sandpaper and then wash away the dirt. Follow up with drying the tub. After this, clean the soap residue with another cleaning chemical solution. After application and scrubbing again, you have completed the cleaning process entirely.

Now, make use of a primer reducer and before using a primer, scrub the excess putty causing unevenness with a sandpaper to get a smooth surface. Finally, apply the base coat and after it has dried off, paint the final coat. Let this dry completely. Have a look at it; hasn’t your work made your bathtub look like just a new one? Surely, it has.
