Designer lighting basics
Light bulbs come in different specifications including wattage, type and make of the bulb. This is mostly a sacrificed value when people are only seeking for functionality. With different rooms comes the need to adopt a preferred lighting design. For large rooms, large lighting fixtures may be the answer.
Recessed lighting fixtures may fit well for a small room but this may depend on the everyday use of that particular room. The light intensity required in the room can be determined by taking up its dimensions and multiplying that by a set factor for the different types of lighting material used. For example for the tungsten light one may use 25 for the factor. With designer lighting the room should be given a style of its own and so one should strive towards an elegant design. Different designer fixtures (and controls) are available including ceiling, wall and floor lighting systems.
