Care for your home plants before you chill out
Vacation time is the time for fun, joy and trips, but it should not hurt the healthy life of your plants. Before you plan your trip somewhere on your summer vacation, due care has to be given to maintain the plant health before you leave.
It would be ideal if you could check the room temperature, may be a week before you leave. If the day temperature is not more than mid 40s during the day time and not less than late 30s during the night time, it implies that the plants are fit for survival without extra attention.
Additional watering has to be done a day or two before you plan go for the trip. It is highly recommended to keep all your plants in the room on the floor, which is covered by plastics or covers. Curtains should be kept opened to allow proper sunlight to get into the room.
Care for your indoor plants
Most of you might have spend too much of your time for gardening your house with beautiful plants. Yet most of you will not take special attention and care in protecting them in the summer season.
If you are going out for a vacation, find some time for caring the plants before you leave for the summer holidays. Measure the room temperature with a thermometer and ensure that your plants are safe in the rooms. Water the plants properly before you leave for the vacation. This should be done without considering whether they need water or not.
Keep all the plants together in the room after covering the floors of the room using newspapers. Open the curtains and ensure that the plants get enough light even when you are not there to care them. Keep the ventilators in the room open and make sure that the heat is not drying up the plans properly.
Care plants for a good garden
Plants in the garden would dictate the greenery, serenity and calmness of the living environment of a home. So, proper maintenance should be given to plants for their longer life cycle. Plants should be plotted in an area where they will get best light from sun. This would ultimately result in the long life of plants.
Apart from that, it will be better off to select plants for your garden which need relit ably less temperature to survive because, there are limitations for you to provide good light for plants all the time. Early morning water spraying would greatly help the plants to survive in severe weather conditions.
It is always preferable to fix the plants in pots that have a drainage hole. When you water the plant each time, special care has to be taken to make the underlying soil wet as this would help the plant to survive.
