Many of us give least importance in getting our house ready for pointing. Most of us believe that a new coat of paint would simply serve the purpose. But the fact is, pre adjustments and preparations are absolutely unavoidable before you get the first coat of paint on your wall.

A careful look at the previous coating should be made. A check has to be done to make sure no cracks or bubbles are there. This would give a fir idea whether you need to change the paint this time around.

A bath could be given to your house before painting. This would help you in getting rid of dirt or similar particles on the surface. Bath could be given using any detergents. Primer can be applied on your own to get a good interface between the surface and paint you are going to apply. This will give an even look to the surface.
