You can look into custom built alternatives that come with separate shelves for trays and plate, a separate rack for glasses, front-glass face shelves to store grocery items and numerous drawers. Remember to apply a coat of waterproof paint in the cabinets where you arrange plates and other dishes. For building the inside of cabinets, wood veneer is more durable compared to melamine, laminate, MDF or particleboard.
