The retro kitchen design trend

Home Improvement, KitchenToday, science has made great leaps. Countertops, raised panels and gourmet kitchens have come to the fore. Yet, there is something beautiful about the retro look too. It creates a welcome pastoral design. Retro designs combine style with functionality. Garishly painted cabinets, metal knobs of 60’s and outdated (vintage) linens are making a comeback. These are looking quite smart. Kitchen doors and cabinets are looking more prominent with retro paint selection.

Today, retro kitchen tables can be made in bistro, dignette and other chrome styles. The pattern reminds one of 1950’s. Then it was craze. In 80’s it became outdated and today, in the 21st century it has the appeal of the vintage.

You can also try Reclaimed Wood or some furniture dating back to the 50s for creating a retro look. Old furniture can be restored to their prime and they generally create a lot of magic with their vintage looks.
